Mac Mail (POP) Email Set Up

To setup Macmail, please take the following steps:

Open MacMail

When Prompted to ' Choose a mail account to add..' select ' Other '

Enter Incoming Account details then select ' Next '

Select ' POP ' and select ' Next '

Un-tick ' Use SSL ' and select ' Password ' Authentication

Enter Outgoing Account Details then click ' Next ' ( same as incoming )

Select ' Mail ' and ' Accounts ' to view the Mail Account

Select ' Advanced ' and verify ' Use SSL ' in un-ticked

Select ' Account Information ' select ' Edit SMTP Server List ' from the drop-down ' Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) '

The verify the ' Server Name ' is correct. The ' Description ' should be the ' Server Name '.

Select ' Advanced '. Select 587 for the ' Server Port ' and un-tick ' Use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) '. Enter the same username and password as for the incoming settings and click ' OK
