Creating a WordPress Page

Upon Logging in, you will be directed to the Wordpress Dashboard, to get started adding a new page to your website.

  1. Navigate to the 'Pages' tab on your Admin sidebar and click the 'Add New' option.
  2. Enter the title of your page, for example About Us
  3. Time to add some content to your page using the 'Fusion Builder' button and using the Fusion Builder elements design the layout of your page.
  4. Click on the individual element on the page and add the item, for example, if we want to add a Picture, we would select the Image Element and insert the picture, continue the process until all of your content is on the page
  5. If your page is the main page, you are ready to publish your page, otherwise, if you are going to make your page a 'sub-page' then on the right-hand side you will need to adjust the Parent option and make sure the page is allocated under its main item. In the Parent section, you can arrange your pages into hierarchies. For example, you could create this new page with additional pages under it. There are no limits to how many levels you can nest pages.
  6. Click Preview or Publish to preview your page to make sure you are happy with what you added. The Publish section of the page editor is exactly the same as for writing posts. When you’re ready to publish, you can either publish immediately, save this or a draft, or schedule the page to be published later.
