iPhone/iPad Email Set up

To add an email account to an iOS device, like an iPad or iPhone, you can follow these steps:

  1. Tap Settings.


  2. Scroll down and tap Mail, Contacts, Calendars.


  3. Tap Add Account.


  4. Tap Other, then Add Mail Account.


  5. You'll then need to provide the settings to the account. 
    Generally, the settings will be like below:

Incoming Mail Server Settings

Account type: IMAP or POP
Incoming Mail Server: mail.domainname.com
User Name: fullemailaddress@domainname.com
Password: >yourpassword<
Incoming server port number: 993
Incoming server SSL: Yes

Outgoing Mail Server Settings

Outgoing mail server: mail.domainname.com
User name: fullemailaddress@domainname.com
Password: >yourpassword<
Outgoing server port: 465
Outgoing server SSL: Yes

Choose POP or IMAP and then enter your settings

Once All the settings are entered, click Next and then you're done.
